On November 1, the RA High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, Zareh Sinanyan, participated in the official opening ceremony of the Swiss-Armenian Academy of Hospitality in Gyumri, where he delivered welcoming remarks.
The Academy was founded by Swiss-Armenian philanthropist Vahe Gabrache. This achievement became possible through the collaboration of the Government of Armenia, the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU), and a group of forward-thinking individuals.
Licensed by the globally renowned EHL Hospitality Business School in Lausanne — a leading institution in the field of hospitality education — the Academy operates under the Swiss educational model, offering professional training programs in culinary, hospitality, and hotel communication. Courses are taught by highly qualified, experienced, and certified instructors.
Admission is open to individuals aged 18 and older, including VET (vocational education and training) graduates who wish to earn an international qualification and build a successful career in the hospitality industry.
The practice-based training will take place at Apricot Grand Hotel Gyumri, and scholarship opportunities are also available for students.
