On November 3, High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Zareh Sinanyan met with Richard Korteland, Mayor of Almelo, the Netherlands.

During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to strengthen the partnership between the sister cities of Etchmiadzin and Almelo, as well as opportunities for community development and joint initiatives in various fields.

Zareh Sinanyan expressed his gratitude to Mayor Richard Korteland for his effective cooperation with the Armenian community of Almelo and his continued support for community initiatives.

Both sides expressed confidence that expanding this cooperation will further contribute to strengthening the ties not only between the two cities but also between Armenia and the Netherlands.
