The Forum of Armenian Arts and Culture had its official opening ceremony at the National Gallery of Armenia.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by Marina Hakobyan, Director of the National Gallery of Armenia; members of the International Coordinating Council for Armenian Culture and Arts, co-organizers of the Forum; and distinguished figures from the fields of culture and arts. The speakers highlighted the significance of initiatives like this and underscored the importance of ensuring their continuity.
Throughout the evening, artists Arthur Saryan, Hrachya Yazichyan, and Luiza Gragati Hakobyan created an abstract canvas dedicated to the Forum, capturing the spirit of creative collaboration through color and movement.
Simultaneously, the exhibition “Streams of Modernity: Diasporan-Armenian Art Beyond the Iron Curtain,” featuring works by Diaspora Armenian artists, opened at the National Gallery and will be on view for two weeks.
The ceremony was accompanied by live jazz music and piano performances, creating a vibrant and engaging atmosphere.
