The High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Zareh Sinanyan, is on a working visit to Israel.

On December 15, as part of his working visit, High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan visited the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem.

During the visit, the High Commissioner toured the Patriarchate and held a private meeting with His Beatitude Nourhan Manougian, Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem. A wide range of issues related to the local Armenian community and the activities of the Patriarchate were discussed.

On the same day, Mr. Sinanyan also toured the Armenian Quarter of Jerusalem and visited the Calouste Gulbenkian Library at the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem, the Jerusalem Armenian Benevolent Union, and the School of the Holy Translators (Sts. Tarkmanchatz School).

At the end of the day, Mr. Sinanyan met with members of the Regional Council of the Armenian Democratic Liberal Party (Ramgavar) and representatives of the Armenian community of Jerusalem at the Vahan Tekeyan Association. During the meeting, the High Commissioner answered questions from attendees and presented the Office’s programs and ongoing initiatives, emphasizing opportunities to expand community engagement and participation.
