On June 22, High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan visited the Office of the Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia in the Hellenic Republic.

As part of the visit, the High Commissioner met with Misak Hovsepyan, Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs in Greece, and the office staff. Discussions focused on the challenges facing the Greek-Armenian community, issues related to the revitalization of cultural and educational life, and opportunities to expand Armenia-Diaspora cooperation.

Misak Hovsepyan presented the office’s ongoing activities, as well as its areas of cooperation with community organizations and local self-government bodies.

Particular attention was given to the programs of the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, as well as opportunities to further engage Greek-Armenian youth and professionals in Armenia’s development processes.

Zareh Sinanyan highly praised the work of the Commissioner’s Office, emphasizing that such structures play an important role in responding promptly and effectively to the needs of the community.
