The working visit of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Zareh Sinanyan, to the Hellenic Republic continues

On June 23, as part of his working visit to Greece, High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan, accompanied by the Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia in Greece, Misak Hovsepyan, visited the Municipality of Nikaia–Agios Ioannis Rentis and met with Mayor Konstantinos Maragakis.

During the meeting, the High Commissioner expressed his gratitude to the Mayor for the continued support provided to the local Armenian community, as well as for the effective cooperation established with Misak Hovsepyan, the Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs in Greece.

During the discussion, the parties highly praised the continued development of Armenian-Greek cooperation across various sectors, emphasizing the importance of expanding decentralized cooperation as an effective platform for deepening collaboration between local self-government bodies.

Zareh Sinanyan underscored the strong friendship between Armenia and Greece, noting that the historical and cultural ties linking the two nations continue to deepen and evolve. He also welcomed the growing momentum in Armenian-Greek relations, which are increasingly expanding into new areas of cooperation and partnership.
