On June 24, as part of his working visit to Greece, the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Zareh Sinanyan, met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic Ioannis-Michail Loverdos and Secretary General for Greeks Abroad and Public Diplomacy Maira Myrogianni.

During the meeting, the parties highly praised Armenian-Greek relations and discussed opportunities for further developing bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

Particular attention was given to deepening cooperation on diaspora affairs within the framework of Armenia-Greece-Cyprus trilateral cooperation.

During the discussion, the High Commissioner introduced his Greek counterparts to Misak Hovsepyan, the Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia in the Hellenic Republic, and spoke about the role and activities of the Commissioner institution in effectively mobilizing community potential and strengthening Armenia-Diaspora ties.

The parties also discussed key issues on the Armenia-Diaspora cooperation agenda, during which Zareh Sinanyan invited his Greek counterparts to participate in the Global Armenian Summit '26, which will take place in Yerevan on November 5-8.
