The 29 participants of the sixth cohort of the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs’ Diaspora Youth Ambassador Program are continuing the Armenia phase of the program.

The second day began with a meeting and discussion with Program Director Lily Khachatryan, who presented the Office’s key areas of work and ongoing programs, as well as the details of the community engagement phase of the Diaspora Youth Ambassador Program.

In the afternoon, the young ambassadors took part in a lecture and discussion on “Advocacy in Community Engagement,” led by Aram Voskanyan. The session focused on community leadership, advocacy, and tools for effective public engagement.

The participants then visited the Office’s Repatriation and Integration Center, where they attended a lecture on “Repatriation Today: Opportunities, Challenges, and Programs,” delivered by Hovhannes Aleksanyan, Head of the Repatriation Integration Department at the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs.

During the visit, the young ambassadors also learned about the services and support programs available to repatriates through the Center and had the opportunity to ask its specialists questions.

The day concluded with an experience-sharing session with participants of the 2025-2026 Diaspora Youth Ambassador Program.
