The third day of the Armenia phase of the Diaspora Youth Ambassador Program began with a workshop on “Persuasive Communication: How to Convince Others by Knowing Yourself,” led by Sergey Tantushyan, a professor at the American University of Armenia, business trainer, and consultant. During the workshop, the young participants explored practical tools for effective communication, self-awareness, and leadership development, while discussing the importance of persuasive speaking and impactful communication.
In the afternoon, the participants visited Birthright Armenia, where they took part in a discussion with the organization’s Executive Director, Sevan Kabakian, on “Volunteering as an Essential Element of Community Engagement: How to Get People Involved.” The discussion highlighted the role of volunteering as a key component of community engagement, as well as ways to leverage it to engage young people.
The day concluded with a meeting with Vahram Mirakyan, Co-Founder and President of the Mantashyants Business Network. The discussion focused on leadership, entrepreneurship, collaboration, and the importance of building pan-Armenian professional networks, highlighting the role of young people in strengthening ties between Armenia and the Diaspora.
