Participants in the 2026-2027 cohort of the Diaspora Youth Ambassador Program spent the weekend on an educational and cultural visit to Lori Province.

As part of the visit, the young ambassadors explored some of Armenia’s most significant historical and cultural landmarks, including the Haghpat, Sanahin, and Akhtala Monastic Complexes, gaining a deeper understanding of Lori’s rich historical and cultural heritage.

The participants also visited the COAF SMART Center, where they toured the facility, learned about its activities, and explored educational programs aimed at supporting the development of children in Armenia’s regions and expanding their educational opportunities.

During the visit, the young ambassadors also met with participants of the Children of the Regions in the Regions NGO and representatives of the Kamk Youth NGO in Stepanavan. The meeting was followed by a traditional Armenian dance workshop.

The educational and cultural visit to Lori Province concluded at Byurakan HandArt Garden, where participants attended a performance of Pomegranate Tree.
