On September 1, the 2026-2027 cohort of the iGorts program, implemented by the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, officially started.

Over the course of one year, highly qualified Armenian professionals from the diaspora will bring their expertise and professional experience to Armenia’s public administration system, contributing to the development and advancement of various state institutions.

This year, 35 Armenian professionals from 12 countries have joined different government institutions across Armenia, where they have begun working in their respective fields of expertise.

The iGorts program provides Armenian professionals living around the world with an opportunity to contribute their knowledge and experience to Armenia’s public sector, while strengthening the engagement of the diaspora’s professional potential and creating new opportunities for repatriation and deeper involvement in Armenia’s development.
