The Diaspora Youth Ambassador Program continues, bringing together young leaders from different countries around the world and strengthening their connection with Armenia.
As part of the program, the young ambassadors met with Zareh Sinanyan, High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia. Welcoming the participants, the High Commissioner highlighted their commitment to Armenia and the vital role of young people in strengthening diaspora communities and advancing Armenia-Diaspora cooperation.
Zareh Sinanyan presented the work of the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, including its ongoing programs and initiatives, with a particular focus on the importance of young people’s active engagement in shaping and advancing the pan-Armenian agenda. He also recognized the work the youth ambassadors have already undertaken and expressed confidence that, upon completing the program, they will become even more effective partners for both the Office and their respective communities.
The meeting was held in an open discussion format, giving participants an opportunity to raise questions and receive detailed answers.
The Diaspora Youth Ambassadors also visited Engineering City, TUMO Center for Creative Technologies, STAN, and the Foundation for Armenian Science and Technology (FAST). During the visits, they learned about the organizations’ work, toured their facilities, engaged with professionals, and gained insights into the key directions shaping Armenia’s technology and innovation ecosystem.
