As part of his working visit to Poland, High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan, accompanied by Hraczja Bojadżjan, Member of the Joint Commission of the Government of Poland and National and Ethnic Minorities and Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Silesia, held a working meeting with representatives of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland.

The meeting was attended by Ryszard Galla, Advisor to the Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland on National and Ethnic Minority Affairs, and Dorota Zielińska-Kozarów, Head of the Secretariat of the Minorities’ Side of the Joint Commission of the Government and National and Ethnic Minorities in the Sejm.

During the discussion, the Polish officials presented their work and the mechanisms in place in Poland to protect the rights of national and ethnic minorities, provide state support, and promote community development.

The discussion focused on initiatives aimed at preserving and advancing the rich historical and cultural heritage of the Armenian community in Poland, as well as opportunities to strengthen community life and expand Armenian-Polish cooperation.

High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan highly valued the consistent support provided by the Polish authorities to the Armenian community, emphasizing that the effective cooperation established between Hraczja Bojadżjan and Polish legislative and executive bodies provides an important foundation for further strengthening bilateral ties.
