Zareh Sinanyan visited the Vahé Fattal Armenian Cultural Association Center in Clamart

On September 12, as part of his working visit to France, High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan visited the Vahé Fattal Armenian Cultural Association Center in Clamart.
The visit was attended by Hayk Chahbazyan and Levon Avdalyan, Co-Chairs of the Organization of the Armenian Diaspora of the Île-de-France Region (ODARIF), as well as Robert Ter Arsenyan and André Nersier, representatives of the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs in Lyon and the Grand Est region.
High Commissioner Sinanyan also held a meeting with Marianna Abrahamyan, Director of the Vahé Fattal Center, and members of her team. The discussions focused on the programs being implemented and the key challenges related to preserving the Armenian language in the Diaspora, maintaining young Armenians’ connection to their roots, and encouraging their active engagement in community life.
During his visit, the High Commissioner learned more about the Center’s activities, educational programs, and teaching and learning environment.
The Vahé Fattal Center currently offers courses in 16 different disciplines.
High Commissioner Sinanyan praised the Center for its work and emphasized the vital role that educational institutions such as the Vahé Fattal Center play in preserving the Armenian language in the Diaspora, transmitting national identity, and strengthening younger generations’ connection to their Armenian roots.
