Zareh Sinanyan visited the intensive almond orchards of Vanand Agro CJSC in Vanand village, Armavir Province

On September 30, High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan visited the intensive almond orchards of Vanand Agro CJSC in Vanand village, Armavir Province, together with Armen Chobanyan, Director of the Izmirlian Foundation’s Armenia Office, Ara Hamazaspyan, CEO of Vanand Agro CJSC, and other representatives of the sector.
Accompanied by the company’s founders, the High Commissioner toured the orchards and learned about the history of their establishment, the work currently underway, and the company’s development plans. He also visited the two large reservoirs located on the company’s premises.
Vanand Agro has an annual production capacity of approximately 3,000 tons and exports its almonds to Spain and Russia.
Through government-subsidized agricultural leasing programs, the company has also acquired mechanized harvesting equipment, enabling it to harvest large-scale orchards efficiently and within a shorter timeframe.
