It has been a month since the beginning of the war in Artsakh

27 October 2020

The situation in the Artsakh-Azerbaijani conflict zone remained relatively stable if tense throughout the night. Artillery duels continued in some areas.

In the evening, Azeri forces made active use of unmanned aerial vehicles, some of which were hit by Armenian anti aircraft defence.  The adversary continued shelling  peaceful settlements, including the towns of Martuni, Martakert and the villages in the northern par  Askeran region.

At the moment, local battles are taking place in several sectors of the front line. The Defence Army continues to fulfill its combat objectives , keeping the tactical situation under control.

At around 10:00-10:15 this morning, Azerbaijan once again violated the ceasefire and used drones (one of which has crashed within RA borders) to shell border guard guiding posts of the Republic of Armenia at its southern border with Iran. Noting this latest violation of the ceasefire and the shelling of the state border of the Republic of Armenia, the RA Ministry of Defense declares that it is forced to strike retaliatory blows at the Azerbaijani forces.

The Azerbaijanis continued firing directly at the southern border of the Republic of Armenia.  There are wounded.

In order to prevent the Azerbainani encroachments in the southern direction of the Republic of Armenia, the Armenian Border Guard Forces took preventive action, causing significant damage to the invaders.

The Azerbaijanis have deployed UAVs in this part of the border.

Units of the Defense Army continue to destroy mercenary-terrorists fighting for Azerbaijan.

Three women were wounded from the Azerbaijani cluster missile strike on Nngi village.
