High Commissioner  Sinanyan met with the President of Artsakh Arayik Harutyunyan in Stepanakert. The President presented the socio-economic and security situation in Artsakh. "We have lost part of our Homeland, but we have not lost our right to live, create and develop", noted Harutyunyan.

The High Commissioner stressed that despite the despair of the Diaspora, there are many individuals and organizations that are willing to contribute to the development of Artsakh.

During the meeting, housing, development and rural community building projects were discussed.

Both parties agreed that the Diaspora should, as much as possible, maintain physical contact with Artsakh, witnessing that people in Artsakh continue to live, work, attend school and lead a normal life.
