Housing and job creation are a priority in Artsakh. During the second day of his mission to Artsakh, High Commissioner Sinanyan met with the Minister of Labor, Social and Resettlement Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh, Mane Tandilyan.

Today, more than ever, the role of the Diaspora is crucial in the reconstruction of Artsakh and the preservation of the Armenian identity. The High Commissioner stressed on the importance of  Diaspora's physical connection with Artsakh, through visits, capacity building and knowledge sharing programs. Mane Tandilyan noted that Artsakh can very soon become self-sufficient with more social and economic involvement from the Diaspora through social entrepreneurship and the establishment of small businesses.

Both parties agreed to continue working in close cooperation and to present the main areas of  collaboration with the Armenian communities of the Diaspora.
