For the first time, High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan is on a working visit to Rostov-on-Don

For the first time, High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan is on a working visit to Rostov-on-Don. The purpose of the visit is to meet with community activists, visit Armenian centers and attend the first large multimedia exhibition dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
Today, High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan visited the Consulate General of Armenia in Rostov-on-Don, during which the Commissioner was introduced to the Consulate’s work with the Armenian community in southern Russia, important issues to the community, as well as cultural and social cooperation with Armenia.
Accompanied by Consul General Vardan Asoyan and Head of the Armenian community Harutyun Surmalyan, Zareh Sinanyan visited "Friendship Park", where a bust of Marshal Hovhannes Baghramyan will be unveiled on May 5th. The High Commissioner then visited the 18th century Surb Khach Armenian Church, which is the first stone building in the region and has federal significance status in the Russian Federation.
