During his working visit to the United States of America, High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan visited the Surp Astvatsatsin Armenian Apostolic Church in Washington DC and met with head of the Eastern Armenian Diocese, His Grace Archbishop Vigen Haykazyan, and the spiritual pastor of the Church, Priest Hovsep Karapetyan.

The spiritual pastor of the Church presented their current programs and activities aimed at increasing community involvement and noted that more than 90 students attend Sunday school. The Church aims to expand the school and increase the number of students.

The High Commissioner toured the church grounds, then shared the Office's programs with the priests.
