During his visit to the United States, High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan met with members of the Hye Hopes Initiative in Glendale, led by President Gregory Krikorian. Hye Hopes is currently implementing programs in various areas of academia for schools in the Syunik region, from providing equipment to social and psychological assistance. Hye Hopes members shared information about their latest projects and proposed a number of things having to do with consolidating Diaspora potential in the field of education and working closely with Diaspora educational institutions. The High Commissioner expressed readiness to closely cooperate on the suggested projects and emphasized his support for eliminating customs barriers in Armenia.
