During his U.S. visit, High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan met with members of the Armenian Engineers and Scientists of America (AESA) at Hero House, headed by President Richard Ohanian.
He thanked Mr. Sinanyan for the visit and noted that AESA is ready to further develop and foster relations with the Commissioner's Office. Then Mr. Ohanian presented the organization’s programs, the purpose of which are to attract large investments in science and research in Armenia, of which they’re already working on with the RA Ministry of Economy and RA Ministry of High-Tech Industry.
With our support, AESA also wants to share its organizational model with Armenian scientists in Europe, Russia and Australia, bringing them together under one roof. Additionally, discussions included matters related to the development of short-term volunteer programs in Armenia for Diaspora Armenian specialists, establishing links with Armenian universities, holding pan-Armenian scientific Olympiads, and introducing research courses in Armenian schools.
