High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan hosted Ambassador of Japan to Armenia, Mr. Fukushima Masanori, who recently arrived to Armenia following his appointment.

Topics of discussion ranged from briefing the Ambassador regarding our office’s strategic directions and programs, the situation in specific diaspora communities, efforts to secure maximum integration between Diaspora and Armenia, repatriation strategies, and encouraging Diaspora professionals to lend their expertise to Armenia’s state structures.

The Ambassador reiterated Japan’s commitment to development and humanitarian assistance in Armenia. He also noted the great potential for Japanese business investments in Armenia, as well as encouraging Japanese tourists to consider Armenia as an attractive tourism destination.
