The Step Toward Home program has ended
14 August 2021
The Step Toward Home program – a favorite of Diaspora Armenian youth – has come to an end. A total of approximately 360 young Diaspora Armenians from 25 countries participated in the program this year.
High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan wished success to the final group of participants, expressing confidence that this summer spent in the homeland will be a consequential one for them. During the closing ceremony, participants sang songs, danced, shared their impressions, and lit the traditional circle-dance bonfire. A number of officials, as well as representatives of partner organizations, participated in the closing of the program.
As a reminder, Step Toward Home is a two-week educational program of the Republic of Armenia Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs. The entire educational component of the program is implemented by Teach For Armenia.
