Diaspora Armenian doctors at the forefront of Armenia’s healthcare system

The Meduni Armenian-American healthcare nonprofit organization launched its next initiative, holding a “Prevention is Cure” conference to improve the fight against cancer in Armenia.
In his speech, High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan considered invaluable the work done by Diaspora Armenian doctors during the coronavirus pandemic, war, and post-war period and emphasized that the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs’ work with the Diaspora Armenian medical community is one of its most expanded collaborations.
RA Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan, first deputy director of public health of the Promise Armenian Institute at the University of California, Los Angeles and advisor to the RA Minister of Health Shant Shekherdimian, American-Armenian doctors Asadur Tchekmedyian and Armen Aboulian, and others took part in the gathering.
