A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Republic of Armenia Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs and the Association of Armenian Lawyers of the Russian Federation. High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan and Chairman of the Association Shahen Petrosyan signed the memorandum.

The parties stressed the need to improve legal protections for our compatriots living in Armenia and the Diaspora and the importance of lawyers’ readiness to be involved in this matter.

The parties also emphasized the framework of this cooperation which will include ensuring joint discussions on draft legal acts and legislative initiatives, organizing joint consultative and advisory discussions, providing quality legal assistance to individuals and legal entities in Russia, exchanging information, and developing joint programs.
