Diaspora Armenian professionals will be working in the regions of Armenia as well. Sofya Seyranova, who came to Armenia from Russia through the iGorts program for Diaspora Armenian professionals in the RA Government, will live in Gyumri for a year and work for the Shirak Regional Administration.

High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan personally accompanied her to her new workplace and introduced her to Shirak Governor Hovhannes Harutyunyan. Sofia received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the National Research Saratov State University, worked in various organizations, and has now decided to use her experience and knowledge to serve her homeland. In the Regional Administration, she will work in the areas of foreign and international relations.
