The Diaspora Youth Ambassador Program team continues to hold orientation and focus group discussions with future ambassadors. They will be coming to Armenia from 17 countries to participate in a two-week training. During the meetings, active Diaspora youth were introduced to the organizational, substantive, work-related, and technical aspects of the program, as well as the procedures for coming to Armenia during the time of COVID-19-related restrictions.

The program team then answered the participants’ questions. As a reminder, the portion of the program taking place in Armenia will be from September 26 through October 9. Afterward, the ambassadors will return to their Diaspora communities where they will organize community meetings, awareness campaigns, forums, and other activities.

The Diaspora Youth Ambassador Program is implemented by the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs with the sponsorship of the Jinishian Memorial Foundation.
