Former iGorts Fellow Ani Ispiryan Appointed Deputy Minister of Economy

Ani Ispiryan, who came to Armenia as a participant in the iGorts program for Diaspora Armenian professionals, has been appointed Deputy Minister of Economy. Ani spent the last year working in the ministry as an iGorts participant.
The newly appointed Deputy Minister graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Economics (Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Economics, diploma with honors). She studied Finance at the Paris School of Business.
She began her career at the Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, going from a junior researcher to the head of the military-industrial complex investment projects department. She has authored a number of papers in this field.
We congratulate our former iGorts fellow Ani and wish her new successes in this important role. Our Office will continue to advance the integration of Diaspora Armenian professionals into the Armenian government.
