Titanium Prostheses Produced in Armenia for Wounded Soldiers
23 September 2021
The first titanium prostheses are being produced in Armenia for wounded soldiers. Our French-Armenian, Russian-Armenian, German-Armenian, American-Armenian, and Lebanese-Armenian compatriots, together with their Armenian counterparts, have established the Hybrid Laboratory (Medical & Health), DDC (Digital Diagnostic Center), and MDS (Medical Dental Shop).
High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan participated in the opening ceremony, calling the venture an excellent example of cooperation between different Diaspora communities. The Commissioner toured the center and learned about the work being done. Titanium prostheses have already been implanted for about 11 wounded soldiers. They underwent successful operations and returned to normal life.
