Beauty By Soldiers Provides Rehabilitation for Soldiers Through Handicrafts

Wounded soldiers’ handicrafts reveal their other talents. Sculptures made from bomb fragments, compositions with natural butterflies – these include the types of works prepared by soldiers with special care and love.
High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan participated in a charity exhibition and sale of works by wounded soldiers entitled HANUN (“For Their Sake”). The exhibition displayed works from the Homeland Defender’s Rehabilitation Center’s “Beauty By Soldiers” project.
American-Armenian Helen Arakelian came to Armenia after the war to teach handicrafts to soldiers.
