Diaspora Youth Ambassador Program's Armenia Segment Concludes
12 October 2021
We now have 20 young ambassadors in 16 countries.
You followed their daily lives in Armenia for the past two weeks. The Diaspora Youth Ambassador program’s first segment, which took place in Armenia, has now come to an end. The participants learned about problems in Armenia and Artsakh, gaining an understanding of issues in almost every field.
The program’s closing ceremony was attended by High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan, as well as Eliza Minasyan, the director of the American office of program sponsor Jinishian Memorial Foundation, and Armen Hakobyan, director of the foundation’s Armenia office.
They noted the importance of the active participation and preparation of the participants and expressed hope that the second segment of the program, which will take place in the participants’ respective communities, will be equally effective.
The participants will be conducting various community events and awareness campaigns in their communities from now until the end of May 2022, periodically checking in with the Office for guidance.
