High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan received Corinne Duguer, the Deputy Mayor of Le Plessis-Robinson, France. The parties discussed issues related to the local Armenian community’s activities, as well as French-Armenian relations. They noted the importance of the work being done by the local “Nour” Armenian association and school, especially with regard to the preservation of Armenian identity in the community. Incidentally, the head of the association and school, Sona Sureken Sungulyan, is our Office’s Diaspora Youth Ambassador in France.
