Serine Avetisyan, a returnee from Germany, began working at the RA Education Inspectorate. She is also a participant in the 2021 iGorts program which places Diaspora Armenian professionals in the RA Government. Serine studied Clinical Linguistics at the University of Potsdam, Groningen, and Eastern Finland.

Aleksandr Shagafyan, Head of the Education Inspectorate, received Serine and welcomed the additional cooperation within the framework of the iGorts program. Another iGorts fellow, Narine Sirakanyan, joined the Inspectorate last year and will be extending her work there for another year.
