Another Diaspora Armenian Specialist Joins Ministry of Health
04 November 2021
American-Armenian Christine Arakelian has joined the Ministry of Health within the framework of our Office’s iGorts program. Ms. Arakelian graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and then received a juris doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. She has experience working at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, has founded and led Global Healthcare Integrators in New York, and Washington D.C., served as a vice-president for Henry Schein, and held senior positions in other organizations.
Today, First Deputy Minister of Health Lena Nanushyan and 2020 iGorts fellow Araz Chiloyan welcomed Ms. Arakelian to her new role and discussed the areas of work in which she will be involved. We are glad to see another highly qualified Diaspora Armenian specialist join the Ministry of Health as a result of this successful partnership.
