Diaspora Armenian professionals continue to come to Armenia and serve in the public sector. Lebanese-Armenian Shant Karakulahian joined the team at Armenian National Interests Fund (ANIF) through our Office’s iGorts program. Gagik Avetuntsi, a graduate of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, started working at the Ministry of Economy. He was welcomed by Deputy Minister Ani Ispirian who came to Armenia through the 2020 iGorts program and was appointed Deputy Minister upon the program’s conclusion. This joining of forces between previous and current iGorts participants is one of the best examples of integrating Diaspora Armenian professionals in the Armenian Government.
