On November 22-23, High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan paid a working visit to St. Petersburg and neighboring cities.

In the city of Pushkin, Mr. Sinanyan met with the head of the local Armenian community, Vrezh Melikyan, and then visited the Urartu Armenian school.

In St. Petersburg, the High Commissioner visited Khatutik, another educational and cultural institution. In a meeting with the St. Petersburg branch of the Association of Armenian Lawyers, Mr. Sinanyan discussed the current issues and legal obstacles facing Armenia-Diaspora partnership.

A final meeting was held with representatives of other Armenian organizations in the city.
