During Repatriation Week, Diaspora community events took place in Belgium, France, Russia and Georgia. The event organizers were Diaspora Youth Ambassador Program participants. Diaspora Youth Ambassador in Belgium Sona Baghumyan, along with the youth wing of the Committee of Armenians in Belgium, organized an informational meeting about repatriation for the Armenian community at HayTun Center.

Sona Sureken Sungulyan, Diaspora Youth Ambassador in France, held a presentation on repatriation opportunities and shared vital information with the French-Armenian community.

Diaspora Youth Ambassador in Chita, Harutyun Atoyan, hosted an informational meeting on repatriation at the first Armenian cultural and educational center in the Trans-Balkan Region of Russia.

Youth Ambassador Emil Sargsyan held a meeting on the main theme of the week at Hayartun Cultural, Educational and Youth Center in Georgia. Experts in our Office joined these meetings virtually, namely our Repatriation Coordinator Hovhannes Aleksanyan and Communications Specialist Hermine Harutyunyan.

Overall, during Repatriation Week in Armenia and the Diaspora, a total of 12 online and offline events were held, 10 repatriation stories were told and various informative meetings about repatriation were held. Thousands of Diaspora Armenians and hundreds of repatriates from dozens of Diaspora countries took part in these events.
