The High Commissioner welcomed George Hakobyan, the head of the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party in the United States.

“Our doors are always open to you and the Social Democrat Hunchakian Party. I welcome and appreciate the party’s state-focused position, since the state is of the utmost importance,” said High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan. He also stressed that the party's agenda is one of unity, which we need both at home and in the Diaspora.

George Hakobyan noted that the Hunchakian Social Democratic Party is ready to assist Armenia, be a reliable partner in the Diaspora, and continue to deepen and develop relations. “Myself and those representing all branches of the SDHP are willing and prepared,” said George Hakobyan.

They discussed matters related to Armenia-Diaspora cooperation, attracting the Diaspora’s professional potential, and the Office’s activities.
