Zareh Sinanyan received Hrachya Boyajyan

The High Commissioner received Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in Poland Hrachya Boyajyan (Consular District: Province of Upper Silesian Voivodeship, City: Zabrze). The latter presented the measures being taken to open the Consulate of Honor in Poland in May and upcoming initiatives.
On the eve of the 655th anniversary of the establishment of the Armenian Diocese of Poland, using the materials of Matenadaran, Etchmiadzin bookstores and materials located in the archives of YSU, thanks to the efforts of the Honorary Consul and the Artsakh Diocese, a book was created representing the Armenian community of Poland and the Armenian Apostolic Church in the 11th-17th centuries.
Another program is the installation of a khachkar or monument dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Poland and Armenia, pro-Armenian activities of the primate of the Catholic Church, Pope John Paul II and century-old Armenian-Polish friendship.
The High Commissioner welcomed the initiatives of the Honorary Consul.
In his turn, Zareh Sinanyan inquired about the situation with Armenians who moved to Poland as a result of the war in Ukraine.
During the conversation, reference was also made to the spiritual and material values left by Armenians at different times in the educational, cultural, political, literary and scientific life of Poland.
At the end of the meeting, the High Commissioner again congratulated Hrachya Boyajyan on his appointment and expressed readiness for cooperation.
