High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan met the Armenian organizations of Greece, the representatives of the Armenian clergy, and met with the representatives of the Armenian community of Greece at the Armenian Embassy in Athens.

Zareh Sinanyan presented the work and the programs of our Office and the policy of dealing with Diaspora matters. High Commissioner expressed his hopes regarding Greek Armenians getting actively involved in the following programs of the Office: iGorts, Diaspora Youth Ambassador, and Step Toward Home.

Further, the repatriation process, the integration programs, the establishment of the first Repatriation and Integration Center in Armenia, and investment policy were discussed.

During the meeting, Zareh Sinanyan answered the attendees’ questions and also touched upon the domestic policy of the Republic of Armenia, external and internal challenges, and the development of the regions of Armenia. The importance of unity and solidarity of the Armenians spread all over the world in confronting the current problems was also noted.
