The first round of free Armenian language classes for repatriates is now complete! Participants have improved their conversational, reading and writing skills, which will simplify their integration in Armenian society and help with securing employment.

Margarita Baghdasaryan, the Project Manager for our Office's Repatriation and Integration Center, expressed her gratitude to the repatriates for their active participation in the classes, to the management and teachers of the Big Mind educational center for the new teaching methods and skill sets brought to the classes. "For the first time, repats can take advantage of free of charge Armenian language classes provided by the Government. We are excited to see such high demand for these classes and receive hundreds of applications for each round," said Margarita Baghdasaryan. The students shared their impressions, made suggestions, and also noted the importance of making new connections and friends during these classes. For the 2nd round of classes, 200 repats from 20 countries have applied, and 80 of them will start their classes on July 6.
