On June 20-26, our Office's representatives were in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and took part in the IV International Intercultural Festival organized by UNESCO, as well as in a round table organized by the Armenian community.

Our specialists, with the participation of the Head of the Armenian community of Yakutia Andranik Navoyan, met with the Minister for External Relations and People's Affairs of the Sakha Republic Gavril Kirillin, discussed cooperation and community issues.

Then, they visited the St. Karapet Church, the Armenian Culture Center, met with the Armenian community and attended to an open history lesson at the Sunday school.

The Head of the Strategy Development Division, Hovhannes Aleksanyan, was awarded the Medal of Peace and Solidarity by the Association of the Peoples of the Sakha Republic, which unites more than 70 national and public organizations.
