Step Toward Home - participants' first week in Armenia
04 July 2022
Participants in the first round of the Step Toward Home educational and informative program have been in their Homeland for a week already.
The 120 teenagers from the Diaspora are staying in Dilijan, and from there they discover the rest of Armenia. They have already visited Matenadaran, Oshakan, the Armenian General Benevolent Union's (AGBU) office, Tsitsernakaberd Memorial, the American University of Armenia (AUA), Garni, Geghard and Gyumri. During the program, our teenagers also learn the Armenian language, Armenian history, Armenian songs and dances, and participate in various cultural and recreational activities.
The costs of the program in Armenia are covered by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.
