The High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to Armenia Paweł Cieplak and Second Secretary of the Embassy, Head of Political-Economic Division Marcin Różycki.

Zareh Sinanyan, welcoming the Ambassador, emphasized the importance of Armenian-Polish relations. "There is quite a large and active Armenian community in Poland. We highly appreciate the assistance provided by the Republic of Poland to the Ukrainian-Armenians, who left the country as a result of the current situation in Ukraine," noted Zareh Sinanyan.

During the meeting, the High Commissioner presented the programs implemented by the Office regarding repatriation, Diaspora mapping, promotion of youth activity, as well as programs for the involvement of Diaspora specialists in the RA Government.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Paweł Cieplak mentioned the work done with the Polish diaspora. The potential areas of cooperation between the two countries were discussed
