On August 8, the High Commissioner received board members of the Armenia School Foundation Moneh Der Grigorian, the President of the Board of Directors, and Ara Carapetian, the President of the Board of Trustees. Mr. Sinanyan thanked the guests for the warm welcome during his visit to Los Angeles.

"Through your Foundation, you make an undeniable contribution to the progress of education in the Homeland, which is one of the strategic directions of the country," noted Zareh Sinanyan.

During the meeting, issues related to the development of education in Armenia, educational problems that Diaspora Armenians are facing as well as the provision of appropriate material support from kindergarten to high schools were discussed.

The guests got informed about our Office’s programs and expressed their willingness to support the projects.

Armenia School Foundation (ASF) was founded in 2003 in Glendale (California), it is a non-profit organization whose goal is to create a safe and supportive learning environment for all the children in Armenia and Artsakh.
