Mr. Sinanyan participated in a conference initiated by the Gulbenkian Foundation

High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan recently participated in the "What does the Diaspora think in the 21st century?" conference.
The Armenian Diaspora Survey initiated by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation's Armenian Communities Department and conducted by the Armenian Institute in London examined the public opinion of the Diaspora as well as the issues and mindset of Armenian communities.
The survey was conducted in 40 communities from 10 countries for the 2018-2022 period and involved more than 13 000 Diaspora Armenians.
This conference was presented by Mikayel Hovhannisyan, the Vice-Rector for Development and Innovation from the Yerevan State University, Razmik Panossian, Director of the Armenian Communities Department at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, and Dr. Hratch Tchilingirian, Associate Faculty Member at Oxford University's Faculty of Oriental Studies.
During this conference, different topics were discussed such as Armenian identity, language, culture, religion and church, community life and organizations, relations with Armenia and cross-influences.
