Our Diaspora Youth Ambassadors met with News Editor Tatev Danielyan at the Public Television Company of Armenia studios to learn more about media content on various platforms, and how to work and cooperate with media in their respective communities.
Following that day, the program participants had the opportunity to talk with repatriates about their experiences working in their home countries' communities. They also exchanged perspectives about existing problems in the Diaspora and ways to solve them. On their part, the participants presented action plans that they developed in groups regarding potential events in their communities.
During their meeting with Sevan Kabakian, Country Director of Birthright Armenia, they spoke about the H. Hovnanian Family Foundation's programs and the importance of volunteering. "It is every Armenian's birthright to not only see Armenia but also experience their homeland via an enriching, hands-on, life-changing experience," noted Sevan Kabakian.
Afterwards, the Diaspora Youth Ambassadors met with the program sponsor's representatives of the Jinishian Memorial Foundation, Elisa Minasyan, and Armen Hakobyan.
