Diaspora Youth Ambassadors continue their work in Armenia

Diaspora Youth Ambassadors met with Sergey Tantushyan, Professor of Business, Strategy, and Business Communications at the American University of Armenia (AUA) and Business Consultant. They had a workshop on verbal and nonverbal communication and another on developing their skills in creation, presentation, and public speech persuasiveness.
The program participants also met with the representative of the Republic of Artsakh in the Republic of Armenia Sergey Kazaryan. During this encounter, they discussed Artaskh being the center of geopolitical interests.
Our program participants also went to Lori which was a rich experience for them. They visited the Sanahin and Haghpat monastic complexes, the Akhtala Monastery, and the Odzun Church.
They also went to the Zarni-Parni Cave Castle Complex, the Aramyants Castle, and the picturesque village of Dsegh, where the poet Hovhannes Tumanyan was born.
The young ambassadors learned about the possibilities of non-formal education by visiting the COAF SMART CENTER, which provides education to students from six years old. Engineering, athletics, art, music, languages, and entrepreneurship are the courses COAF offers to everyone. The curriculum focuses on the holistic development of individuals.
The trip to Lori allowed participants to learn about the life of the community and to create a bond.
