The first stage of the Diaspora Youth Ambassador Program has ended

On October 7th, the closing ceremony of the two-week training of the Diaspora Youth Ambassador Program was held in Armenia.
Among the attendees were High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs Zareh Sinanyan, Head of Health Programs of the Jinishian Memorial Foundation Zara Janibekyan, and representatives of the Office’s staff.
Program Manager Greta Mnatsakanyan summarized the work completed over the past two weeks, thanking both the people and organizations involved. She also presented the key tasks the participants will continue to work on until August 2023.
High Commissioner Zareh Sinanyan, in wishing success to the young ambassadors in their future endeavors, stressed the importance of keeping active participation in the program, in maintaining cooperation with other participants of the program, and in the importance the youth has in strengthening inter-community ties and strengthening Armenia-Diaspora cooperation.
On behalf of the group, Anush Gasparyan from India and Kamo Mamikonian from Russia expressed gratitude to the team for putting together the program for having a very full but meaningful and effective agenda, which has prepared them for the work they will embark on in their communities.
After two weeks of training in Armenia, the participants will continue this work in their respective communities. They will organize community meetings and events promoting inter-community cooperation, while also hosting informational sessions regarding the programs available for participation in Armenia and our Office. Additionally, they will work within their host countries to gain a larger Armenian presence on social media and in traditional media as well.
